From Munich by car (55 miles, approx. 65 minutes)
Take A 95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen until it merges into a two way street. In Oberau, turn right and take B23 towards Augsburg until you reach Oberammergau.
From Augsburg by car (60 miles, approx. 100 minutes)
Take B17 towards Füssen/Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In Peiting B17 merges into B23. Follow B23 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen until you reach Oberammergau.
From Innsbruck by car (48 miles; approx. 75 minutes)
Take A12 towards Zürich. Leave A12 at exit Zirl Ost N177 and head to Mittenwald/Scharnitz. After crossing the Austrian/German border follow B2 towards Munich. Pass through Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In Oberau turn left onto B23 towards Augsburg and follow that route until you reach Oberammergau.
Oberammergau
To get into the center of Oberammergau leave B23 at any of the two Oberammergau exits and follow the signs for the town center.
